So the New Year has started out a little challenging for me. On Friday, January 4th, I lost my job. Unfortunately the small Advertising Agency I was working for was not able to get enough overhead to keep my position, so in turn they terminated my position. There was panic at first but with God on my side I know that I will be ok.
Things with Mike are still going really well. He is actually going with me to Greensboro this weekend for my Dad's Birthday.
Well for Christmas, I went to Dallas (maybe for the last time) to spend time with Shannon, Billy, Kennedy and Ragan. It is so great being able to get up and see those 2 girls faces on Christmas morning. That is the best gift that anyone could get. They were very excited by all the gifts that Santa Claus brought them, and of course the gift that I (Aunt 'Zanne) gave to them, their American Baby Dolls. My sister gave me the idea to get these dolls in which they named them Hannah and Chloe.
As I told you in an earlier blog, Billy lost his job back in October. So they were looking to sell the house and hopefully move back East, closer to home. The update with that is that they sold the house and close on that on January 24th. Shannon is hoping to get relocated back to North Carolina, hopefully Charlotte where they will be back with all their friends and family! I would love to have them closer to home! Billy was waiting to talk with a company and had also talked with a Golf Course back in Charlotte about jobs.
Please keep Shannon, Billy, Kennedy and Ragan in your prayers, praying that they will figure out what God's plan for them is and whether they will stay out in Dallas for a few months longer or they will come on back to North Carolina.
I also ask you to keep me in your prayers as well. Pray that God will give me the rest, while also helping me to find the "Right" workplace that he wants me to be.
I know that God has a specific plan for Shannon, Billy, Kennedy, Ragan and Me, we just need to exercise patience that God will work his magic and place us exactly where he wants us to be.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am attaching some of the pictures that I took from my trip to Dallas. Love to all!
