Words
Kyleigh is talking more and more! The day after Thanksgiving we were visiting friends and family and Kyleigh was chasing after the cat and out of the blue she blatantly said "Meow". That following week at school she said it again without me telling them she said it the first time. Over the weeks she has figured out more and more words. This week alone (week before Christmas) she has learned how to say "Me, Me, Me" and "Uh, Oh". Then today she has clearly said "Mommy". Those conversations are going to be coming soon!
We have moved!
We are happy to say that we have moved back to Raleigh! We have rented the house in Indian Trail and have found a home to rent in Raleigh! We are happy to say we are home! Where we will miss the friends and family back there, we love being back!

She's Walking!!!
Well it's been building up for weeks, a step here and a step there. Then it would progress to 2 to 3 steps. Then finally last Friday night (July 29th) she just couldn't control herself. I was sitting on the floor on one side of the room and her little chair that Nonnie gave her for her birthday was on the other. Kyleigh spent, oh I don't know how long walking back and forth between her chair and me. It continued on each day after that and she is getting better and better. If she gets walking too fast she will fall, otherwise she is gaining more and more control. She is such a hoot and we are having so much fun with her!
On another note, we have decided to sell or possibly lease (if we can't sell) our house and move back to Raleigh! We have really been itching to get back there, and we feel now is the time to do so!
Love,
Suzanne, Mike, Kyleigh and of course Murphy!

Where did the year go?
Well, Kyleigh is a year old! I can't believe the time has flown by so fast! We had a big party with family and friends! The theme of her party was pink mod monkey. Monkey's has been my thing for her here recently!
I took the day off for Kyleigh's birthday! I took her to school for a little bit while Nonnie and I shopped for her! Then we picked her up and took her to the doctor. Her one year measurements were 10-25% for height, 25% for weight (19.7 lbs) and 75% for size of her head! She is definitely going to be vertically challenged like her dad and me! She had 3 shots while there too, while she cried during them, she was a big girl afterwards!
Other things we have been doing since our last post when we went to the beach! We just took her to the mountains for a long weekend. It was so nice and cool up there. We rented a cabin about 20 mins outside of Boone! It was so relaxing! We also met up with some old friends up there too!
Time has flown by, I can't believe how big she is getting and how much she is changing! She is not quite walking yet, but each day she is standing longer and longer. She has taken one step by herself, but that is it! She is making funny sounds and I think it's going to be anytime before she starts talking. She has 6 teeth with I am sure more to cut any day now!! She has been to the pool several times and is loving the water! So much change in so little time!
I have included some pictures from her birthday! Thanks to all who were able to make it and made her 1st birthday special. To those of you who weren't able to make it, we missed you and we hope to see you soon!
Love to all!

Where is the time going?
It's April 2nd already! Kyleigh is 9 months already! She went to the doctor the other day for thesecond time in a month. At the beginning of March,Kyleighwas sent home for running a fever. I took her to the doctor only to find out that she had blisters on her throat, the doctor said it could have been hand, foot & mouth or could have just been viral, she never got blisters anywhere else besides in her throat! She was not tested and nor was it confirmed that she definitely had it! Then on Tuesday of this past week, I got a call again because she was running a 102.5 degree temperature. Cici came down to help us out and she thought she was getting better on Wednesday so we didn'ttake her to the doctor, only to see a fever spike back up late in the day so we made an appointment to take her Thursday. Her doctor diagnosed her with a little earache, some nasal congestion and a little touch of bronchiolitis! Today, thankfully Kyleigh is feeling much better and getting back to her fun self!
Kyleigh also became 9 months on March 23rd, she is growing so fast. She was 17 lbs and 10 ozs in the 25-50 percentile, she was also in the25-50 percentile for her height too (she gets that honest),and then her head measure in the 75-90 percentile. She is pulling up on everything these days! She gets up so easily, however getting down is a little tough for her in certain circumstances! She has been army crawling for a while now but she is starting to crawl normally too! At daycare they think she may be walking before too long! Also, her top 2 teeth are getting close to cutting through, they are about to the surface! Kyleigh is so much fun, she continues to LOVE Murphy and he is so good with her, tolerating the pulling his hair and hard pats! He loves the fact that she is starting to eat more and more table food as well as feeding herself, so Murphy gets some of her droppings on the floor!
Just the other weekend, we took Kyleigh to the beach for the first time, we stuck her feet in the surf but the water was so cold, she was curious though because she kept sinking. Then we took her up to the part where the sand was packed and she proceeded to eat sand! She seemed to have a great time! She also got to meet Gramps Mickey while we were out there!
Next Sunday we are dedicating Kyleigh to the church! As all 3 of us will also be joining the church soon too! We are going to be going through the class to join on the 6th. We are really enjoying our church and have gotten the chance to see an amazing church family grow so close together through one of our pastors who's son had an AVM at the beginning of February, check out Geoffrey's blog at www.geoffreyjanes.blogspot.com, it truly is an amazing story and to truly see God at work!
Mike has finally gotten his State License and has been appointed by NY Life to be a Financial Planner! He is trying to get started and is on a mission! If any of you are interested in talking with him please let us know. We got Life Insurance last year, I admit I was a little hesitant about it at first, but seeing a tragic death to one of former co-workers husbands, I thought it was a great idea! He has so many great products!
As you can see, lots of change going on between Mike's new job, Kyleigh growing SO fast and us joining the church! More to come!

Almost at the 8 month mark!

On Wednesday, Kyleigh will be 8 months old! Where has the time gone. Also, on the 28th, she is getting moved up to a Waddler's class. It's a great occasion but a sad one too! We love her current teachers so we will certainly miss them, we really wish they could move up with her but know the change will be good! I am also looking forward to her learning new things. She is very mobile at this point already, she has started doing the army crawl where she crawls only with her arms. She is also starting to climb. I know I keep saying it but she is still very infatuated with Murphy and he is so good with her. Just yesterday they were sitting on the bed and she put one arm over him and was pulling on him a little and he just let her do it! I knew having a baby would be fun, but I never knew how much fun it would really be! That smile on her face is priceless!

Other things going on?!?!? Well Mike is facing a new chapter in his life as well. He started looking for something else while he was at Sprint, his manager knew it and I feel like she looked for reasons and ways to get him in trouble, which resulted in him being forced to resign. So the last few weeks, he has been taking classes and State exams in order for him to work with NY Life. He had this in the works when he was forced to resign, but he was hoping to work there until he signed his first 6 households. So anyone needing some financial planning, some extra Life Insurance, Health Insurance and so on, Mike will be happy to help you! And just so you know, you should always plan ahead!
For those of you who would like to come, we have chosenthe 25th of June for Kyleigh's first birthday party. We had to go ahead and choose a date because so many family members are out of town and it is in the middle of the summer so we had to plan around vacations!
Love to all!

February already?
I can't believe it is February 3rd already! Where is the time going? I also can't believe Kyleigh is 7 months old. She is changing so much! She mimics what the other kids in her daycare class go. She also has a little boy who she still flirts with, his name is Levi! Tonight I taught her to bang blocks together and she just laughed! Sitting up is becoming second nature to her except for when she is tired! Oh, and let me just tell you, Kyleigh is infatuated with Murphy! We had some things going on with Murphy the other week, but the vet and Shelley thinks it was just because his diabetes wasn't regulated! He had lost 3 lbs in a month and was peeing everywhere, but now he seems to be doing better. Kyleigh just watches him all the time though! Murphy has also learned that if he hovers below Kyleigh's high chair he will get some droppings of her food, especially when she is eating fruit puffs and pancakes! She is also mastering the sippy cup among other things. She is very alert and so much fun!
More to come later, we hope everyone is doing well! For those of you who we haven't seen lately, we would love to see you and catch up!
Love!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I hope you are all having a safe one and great one so far! We are expecting snow and mixture of sleet and freezing rain tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see what we get!
We are doing well, Kyleigh continues to get big and change every day. The week before last she started getting her first tooth. We kept telling her, even though she couldn't do anything about it, that her one tooth needed company, and a couple of days ago the other bottom tooth started to come in. Mike won't let her suck on his finger anymore! She is rolling over very well and is even figuring out how to turn herself around, she is even scooting some. She has also figured out how to go backwards some. Baby food is a hit! There are a few things she doesn't like, but she loves yogurt. I think she has had a touch of the stomach bug the past few days because she has had to have a change of clothes about 4 times and had 3 baths in 2 days. Hopefully she will be feeling better tomorrow.
We are concerned about Murphy. Last week he had us up multiple times a few nights, I took him to the vet and he had lost 3 lbs, which is a lot for a dog. They ran tests and his liver enzymes were really high, the vet said they could have been high due to his diabetes, she gave him an antibiotic to make sure it wasn't another bladder infection. It got better, however he can't make it through the day without having to go to the bathroom. He has also pee'd in the house a couple of times right in front of us. I am really hoping it isn't his liver, so please pray that it's not and that he gets over this!
More to come! Keep in touch!
